Thomas was born in 1859 in Coleraine.
Around 1885 with his brothers he selected land in Gymbowen. They had small lots which were not always connected.
He farmed that land for years. Life wasn't easy.
He wouldn't pay his sons as they got older, so they left the farm and went shearing.
In later years he sold at Gymbowen and bought a farm between Horsham and Green Lake.
He died in 1937.
